Abstract

  • 13:00–13:50 “An introduction of Auto Multiple Choice”, HAMADA, Tatsuyoshi(Nihon University / OCAMI) & NAKAGAWA, Yoshiyuki(Ryukoku University)
    • We introduce Auto Multiple Choice(AMC), it is a managing software for multiple choice questionnaries, with automated marking. Answer sheets are formatted with LaTeX. We tried to connect AMC with computer algbra systems using the function io.popen() of Lua language.
  • 14:00–14:50 “Collaboration of LuaLaTeX and CAS, its application”, KIMURA, Iwao(Toyama University)
    • LuaTeX is an implementation of TeX with an interpreter of scripting language Lua. LuaLaTex is a LaTeX on LuaTeX. Lua has a foreign functions interface (FFI) for C libraries. One can use FFI to integrate LuaLaTeX with a computer algebra system (CAS). In this talk, we discuss the benefit and application of the interaction of LuaLaTeX and a number theory library “pari” which is a part of pari-gp.
  • 15:00–15:50 “Introduction to LAPROGNC (Linear Algebra PROGrams in Numerical Computation) Library”, KIMURA, Kinji(Fukui University)
    • We have developed the numerical linear algebra software LAPROGNC (Linear Algebra PROGrams in Numerical Computation) for data science. In this talk, we will introduce the functions of LAPROGNC and the mathematics and the implementation used in LAPROGNC.
  • 16:00–16:50 “Recommendation systems on music streaming platforms and its mathematical models”, MIZUKAMI, Hiroki(Akihabara Lab. CyberAgent, Inc.)
    • In recent years several forms of media such as music are no longer limited to physical media such as CD’s but increasingly distributed online. And information technologies, including information retrieval and recommendation have improved the listening experience. In this session we will introduce the recommendation system on AWA, our music streaming platform. We will cover its mathematical model and the technical context in which it was necessary.
